1952 - Max Levske, the most powerful Jewish gangster in America, takes two weeks away from the daily grind of running a criminal empire to face the greatest battle of his life. 

He locks himself in a farm house in upstate to New York to recover from the shakes and withdrawal of a lifelong addiction to Heroin. 

His best friend and confidant Louis Delini arrives with a box of food and whisky to help him through. 

Together they share stories of their life together, from the streets of downtown New York to the Casinos of Las Vegas, from street thugs to warlords these two are the last of a dying breed of street soldiers in the underground world of organised crime.
